1. Introduction

10 Cards Rummy respects the privacy of its players and visitors.

We are committed to collecting and processing only the information reasonably necessary to operate our skill-based card game platform, provide free Practice games, organize tournaments, maintain fair competition, protect security, and communicate with users.

We do not sell, rent, or trade users' personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we process it, how it is protected, and what privacy rights users may exercise.

2. Registered Player Information

When users register directly through the website, the platform collects information including their chosen username, email address, and country.

Passwords are stored as protected password hashes rather than plaintext passwords.

Account information is used for authentication, tournament participation, account administration, security, and communications relating to the platform.

Usernames and tournament results may be publicly visible. Private email addresses and account credentials are not intended for public display.

3. Telegram Mini App Registration

Players accessing 10 Cards Rummy through Telegram may register using their verified Telegram identity and a chosen Rummy username.

The platform stores the Telegram numeric account identifier linked to the corresponding Rummy account.

Telegram may provide additional profile information during authentication, including usernames, names, and language preferences. This information may be processed for authentication and user-interface purposes.

Telegram-only registration does not require players to submit a separate personal email address, country, or password. Technical placeholder values may be generated internally where required by the account database.

10 Cards Rummy does not intentionally retain the raw signed Telegram authentication data as part of the permanent player account record.

4. Free Practice and Temporary Game Data

4.1 Practice Without Registration

10 Cards Rummy allows visitors to play free Practice games without creating an account, providing an email address, or entering a tournament.

4.2 Temporary Game Information

To operate Practice games and allow players to recover interrupted hands, the platform assigns a temporary Practice identifier and stores necessary gameplay information.

This may include the current cards, deck, discarded cards, game progress, and relevant timestamps.

4.3 Temporary Data Retention

Practice game information is intended to be temporary.

Records that have not been updated for more than 24 hours become eligible for automatic cleanup. Cleanup is performed when new Practice games are started, so removal may not occur immediately after the 24-hour period.

4.4 Browser Storage

The platform may use essential browser storage to remember gameplay settings, preserve card arrangements, enforce restart restrictions, and improve the user experience.

Where applicable, browser storage may also remember a visitor's one-time acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.

These functions do not require a Practice visitor to create an account.

4.5 Privacy of Practice Players

Free Practice does not require visitors to provide their names, email addresses, or other registration details.

Essential technical information may still be processed for website operation, security, and troubleshooting, as explained elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

5. Gameplay Records, Tournament Data and Fairness Verification

5.1 Tournament Participation

When a registered player enters a tournament, 10 Cards Rummy records information necessary to administer the competition.

This may include the player's account identifier, tournament identifier, entry time, participation status, and relevant tournament information.

5.2 Gameplay and Scoring Records

To operate tournaments and maintain accurate leaderboards, the platform stores gameplay information, including:

These records are used to administer tournaments, maintain fair competition, and investigate potential gameplay or scoring errors.

5.3 Fairness and Security Verification

10 Cards Rummy may retain technical gameplay records, cryptographic verification information, and game histories to verify that tournament results were obtained legitimately.

These records help identify possible cheating, unauthorized manipulation, software errors, or violations of tournament rules.

5.4 Final Tournament Results

Following a tournament, verified results and related records may be retained to maintain historical leaderboards, confirm prize eligibility, investigate disputes, and protect the integrity of the competition.

Public tournament results may include usernames, rankings, and scores. Private account information, such as email addresses and authentication credentials, is not intended for public display.

5.5 Disqualification and Investigation Records

Where a participant is disqualified or suspected of violating tournament rules, 10 Cards Rummy may record the relevant tournament, account identifier, reason for disqualification, and related timestamps.

Such information is used for fair-play enforcement, security, and dispute resolution.

5.6 Retention of Tournament Records

Certain gameplay, tournament, and verification records may be retained beyond the end of a tournament where reasonably necessary for auditing, historical rankings, prize administration, security, or legal obligations.

Retention practices will be reviewed periodically, and information will be deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably required, subject to applicable law and technical limitations.

6. Community Chat Messages and Editing History

6.1 Public Community Chat

10 Cards Rummy provides Community Chat facilities where eligible users may communicate, ask questions, report problems, and share suggestions.

Community Chat messages are publicly readable, including by visitors who have not registered an account.

Posting messages is subject to the platform's applicable account and participation requirements.

6.2 Information Stored

When users post messages, 10 Cards Rummy stores information necessary to operate and maintain the discussion facilities.

This may include:

6.3 Edited Messages and Revision History

Users may edit their own messages in accordance with the platform's rules.

When a message is edited, the platform may retain previous versions of its content and related editing information.

This revision history is maintained internally for moderation, security, accountability, and the integrity of Community Chat records.

Previous versions are not intended for public display through the ordinary Community Chat interface.

6.4 Official Tournament Announcements

Fireside Chat is the designated area for official tournament announcements, including live Rank 1 changes and verified final tournament winners.

For tournament verification and auditing, the platform may retain records relating to official announcements, including a private snapshot of authenticated Community Chat participants present or active when a final winner is announced.

Such internal snapshots are not intended for public display.

6.5 Message Retention

Community Chat is designed as a continuous discussion space across tournaments.

Messages, replies, editing history, and related records may be retained to preserve conversations, support moderation, investigate misconduct, and maintain tournament-related records.

Information will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and legitimate operational requirements.

6.6 User Responsibility and Privacy

Community Chat is a public discussion facility.

Users should avoid publishing sensitive personal information, including private contact details, passwords, financial information, or other information they do not wish to make publicly accessible.

10 Cards Rummy may moderate or remove content in accordance with its Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

7. Cookies, Browser Storage and Technical Information

7.1 Essential Cookies

10 Cards Rummy uses essential cookies to support account authentication, secure sessions, free Practice games, and normal platform operation.

These cookies help recognize registered players, maintain active sessions, and preserve necessary gameplay functionality.

7.2 Login and Session Cookies

For registered players, the platform uses a secure, randomly generated authentication token stored in a browser cookie.

Only a cryptographic hash of this token is stored in the player database.

The login cookie may remain in the browser for up to two years unless it expires, is removed, or is invalidated earlier. Actual account access may be subject to additional session and security restrictions.

7.3 Free Practice Sessions

Unregistered Practice players may receive a temporary session identifier that allows the platform to recognize and restore an existing Practice hand.

This does not require the visitor to provide a name, email address, or registered account.

7.4 Browser Local Storage

10 Cards Rummy uses browser storage for essential operational and convenience functions, which may include:

This information is stored in the user's browser and may be removed through browser settings.

7.5 Technical Information and Server Logs

To operate, secure, and maintain the platform, 10 Cards Rummy and its hosting infrastructure may process technical information, including:

Such information is used for security, troubleshooting, service reliability, and protection against abuse.

7.6 Server Log Retention

Server access and error logs are configured for daily rotation, with 14 retained log rotations.

Under normal operation, this generally represents approximately two weeks of historical log records, in addition to the current log.

Actual retention may vary due to maintenance, backups, legal obligations, or operational circumstances.

7.7 Advertising and Tracking

10 Cards Rummy does not currently intend to use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers for behavioral profiling.

Any future introduction of nonessential tracking technologies will be disclosed and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including obtaining consent where required.

7.8 Browser Controls

Users may manage or delete cookies and locally stored information through their browser settings.

Disabling essential cookies or storage may affect login, game recovery, and other platform functions.

Further information will be provided in the separate Cookie Policy.

8. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

8.1 No Sale of Personal Information

10 Cards Rummy does not sell, rent, trade, or provide users' private personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their independent advertising or marketing purposes.

Protecting users' privacy is an important principle of the platform.

8.2 Hosting and Technical Infrastructure

10 Cards Rummy uses third-party hosting and infrastructure services to operate its website, games, tournaments, and Community Chat.

These providers may process limited technical information, including IP addresses, connection details, and server logs, as necessary to deliver and maintain the service.

8.3 Telegram Integration

Players who access 10 Cards Rummy through Telegram may use Telegram's authentication and Mini App services.

The platform processes verified Telegram identity information to recognize players and link their Telegram accounts to their chosen Rummy usernames.

Telegram operates independently under its own applicable privacy policies and terms.

8.4 External Software and Content Delivery

Certain website functions use externally hosted software libraries, including the Socket.IO JavaScript library delivered through Cloudflare's cdnjs service.

When these resources are loaded, the external provider may receive limited technical information associated with the browser request.

These resources are used for technical functionality rather than advertising purposes.

8.5 Prize Payment Providers

When tournaments offer prizes, 10 Cards Rummy may use third-party payment providers to distribute awards.

Winners may be asked to provide payment information reasonably necessary to receive their prizes.

Such information will be handled through the applicable payment arrangements and disclosed only as reasonably necessary for payment processing, security, or legal compliance.

8.6 Legal and Security Disclosures

10 Cards Rummy may disclose relevant information where required by applicable law, a valid legal process, or a lawful request from a competent authority.

Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary and legally permitted to investigate fraud, protect platform security, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

8.7 Limited Sharing

10 Cards Rummy aims to limit disclosures of personal information to what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Where applicable, third-party providers may process information under their own privacy policies or contractual data-protection arrangements.

8.8 International Services

Because 10 Cards Rummy is an online platform intended for international participation, some service providers may process information outside a user's country of residence.

Where applicable, such processing will be subject to relevant data-protection requirements and safeguards.

9. Data Security and Retention

9.1 Data Security

10 Cards Rummy takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

These measures include secure authentication mechanisms, protected password storage, access controls, and encrypted HTTPS connections.

However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

9.2 Account Information

Registered account information may be retained for as long as the account remains active and for additional periods reasonably necessary for security, tournament administration, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

9.3 Gameplay and Tournament Records

Gameplay records, scores, tournament entries, verification information, disqualification records, and final results may be retained to maintain accurate historical records and protect competitive fairness.

Certain tournament records may be preserved for extended periods to allow the verification of past results and investigation of potential disputes.

9.4 Community Chat Records

Community Chat messages, replies, editing histories, and relevant moderation records may be retained to maintain discussion continuity, preserve official announcements, and support community safety.

9.5 Temporary Practice Data

Unregistered Practice game records become eligible for cleanup after 24 hours without activity.

Actual deletion may occur later because cleanup is triggered by application activity rather than guaranteed at a fixed time.

9.6 Technical Logs and Browser Data

Technical server logs and browser storage are handled according to the practices described in Section 7.

Browser-stored information may also be removed by users through their browser settings.

9.7 Data Retention and Deletion Requests

Retention periods vary according to the information involved and its operational, security, contractual, or legal purpose.

Users may contact 10 Cards Rummy to request information about their personal data or its deletion.

Requests will be evaluated under applicable privacy laws. Certain information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary and legally permitted for security, fraud prevention, tournament integrity, dispute resolution, or compliance with legal obligations.

9.8 Security Incidents

If a security incident affecting personal information occurs, 10 Cards Rummy will assess the circumstances and take appropriate measures, including notifications where required by applicable law.

10. Player Privacy Rights and Requests

10.1 Privacy Rights

Depending on their country or jurisdiction and applicable data-protection laws, users may have rights concerning their personal information.

These may include the right to:

10.3 Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

Such requests will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable law.

Certain records, including tournament results, gameplay verification records, fraud-prevention information, prize records, and relevant legal or security records, may need to be retained where legally permitted or required.

10.4 Public Community Chat Information

Users may request review or removal of personal information contained in Community Chat messages.

Because Community Chat is publicly readable and may include historical discussions or official tournament records, removal requests will be assessed individually under applicable law and the platform's legitimate operational requirements.

10.5 Response to Requests

10 Cards Rummy will make reasonable efforts to handle privacy requests promptly and within any deadlines required by applicable law.

Where a request cannot be fulfilled in full, the platform will provide an appropriate explanation when legally required.

The applicable legal basis depends on the information and purpose involved.
